Even if you add Guitar Hero and Rock Band there are still much better rhythm games.And I personally would go with the DDR series.Edit:  Audiosurf is pretty good too.
Amplitude, but sadly they will never make an amplitude 2 thanks to GH and now RB.
Other than GH and RB, the only other rhythm game I have played is DDR. So, I would have to say DDR.
