I've never heard of Defense Grid, but Savage Moon looks awesome. Reminds me of Starship Troopers (automatic win :P). As of now, PixelJunk Monsters is the king.

They both look pretty good in the videos. TBH I think I'll just stick to the good old free flash versions.
