farcry 2 looks amazing and has the best fire ever and few games have physics anywhere near as good. crysis is about the only game that is technically better. I guess people don't prase it because its multiplat so there is no ownage to be hadWhy do people keep underestimating Far C ...
It just feels really really blurry.
Cause the gameplay is terrible. Online was nothing short of rushed crap and the single player is repetitive and boring.

Also, when you run with your character he/she looses focus EVERYTIME! Sometimes it's overkill...Other than that is looks great. I'm playing the 360 version though and it doesn't really compare to other console graphics like I though it would. The PC version is of course noticeably better :P.But I wish the MP was better. It's understandable that it's not feature packed as other offerings since the map editor took alot of time for Ubi. I work on my maps almost everyday :).

Not terrible. The mission system is repetitive at times, but I like it alot.
For MP... you have to take into account that Ubi offered an amazing Map Editor for all versions. That takes alot of work and I commend them. The editor is really fantastic.
Its multiplatform. People can make excuses, but we all know thats the only reason why it isn't argued. /thread.
Farcry 2 looks absolutely amazing on played on Max settings on the PC. None of that blurring that many you claim it has, it's probably just on the 360 version.

FC2 looks good, but the gameplay got very tiring quite quickly
I found that it being sandbox worked against it.Agree on the gfx.

None of that blurring that many you claim it has, it's probably just on the 360 version.[/QUOTE]i dont see the big deal with the visuals tbh, im running it on ultra with full aa and it seems a bit meh. i dont like the pallette, the colours look grubby. dont like the holding the gun and driving view, looks pretty cheap especially when compared to crysis, the only game that i think looks ''absolutely amazing.'' each to his own i guess.. :)

The graphics are cartoony looking and the gameplay is repetetive. All it is is a bunch of average looking foilage and blocky buildings. And the dynamic faction based gameplay was overhyped and then gimped.

It looks great no doubt, I enjoyed playing with the map editor but i'm playing the PS3 version which run at only 720p, i'm assuming the 360 version looks sharper for that reason on 1080p

That's the only reason I can figure for why it's never brought up. Even the 360 version of Far Cry 2 is one of the best looking games I've ever seen. I'd love to see it running on max settings on a PC.
