Xbox 360= One of the best consoles of al ...

I know, I know.. the SNES and PS2 consoles where great but I now do think the 360 has earned and deserves to be right up there with the PS2 and SNES as one of the greatest consoles of all time.. After the launch of the NXE it honestly blew me away.. I mean for instance, I was able to start a party with 7 of my xbox live buddies, chat with ALL of them at the same time while we where all playing different games!  I mean the 360 is every gamer's dream come true, for how long have us gamers been saying that it would be awesome to be able to play online against buddies all over the world... ever since the late 90s and when the millenium started gamers everywhere where longing for the day that something so robust and online user friendly like Xbox live would come and now it has and its GREAT! I mean the 360 is the true ''Center of the living room'' machine, the netflix works amazing although I do think the titles need to improve because right now the movies you can stream arent that great, I do admit though that the Horror flicks they have are great if you dig 80s cult horror classics like I do :D  but anyway thats neither here nor there.. The point is, no other console on the face of the earth lets you do what the 360 does.. and that is to just chat with ease with several other people at the same time while all playing different games or just get together and play the same game together.. Oh and I love the new Avatar system, it really personalizes the xbox experience that much more.. So overall I give the 360 a 10/10, It has revolutionized gaming, not to mention the stellar titles the 360 has, I mean just think about it.. right now MS pretty much dominates all genres with their 1st party line up, Fable 2 for the mythical RPG, Mass Effect for the Sci fi RPG, Gears for the third person shooter, Forza 2 for racing, Halo 3 for FPS, and Banjo for the family freindly type game. I honestly think without Microsoft the gaming market would have declined, Xbox live is unlike anything ive ever seen before in my 19 years of gaming, the networking and overall online experience was unprecedented just 6 years ago.

it's good that you feel that way. But i have to disagree with it being up there with the ps2 and snes.

Revolutionised no, Evolutionised yes.IMO the 360 is the pinical of traditional gaming experiances, but the only thing it pioneered was achevements

Revolutionized is a strong word. No, the 360 hasn't Revolutionized gaming, especially comparing with other consoles. It made Online fantastic, but really, it's not miles better than PSN (just better). Also, this is about the third thread I've seen saying this. Why does everyone think that the 360 is so damn revolutionary? Though I largely dislike the Wii, that console itself IMO revolutionized gaming. Sure, the games may not all use the motion sensing all that well, but motion sensing technology in a game is revolutionary. It makes a path for others to follow.Xbox is just a very good console, but it's not selling like the Wii, it's very unreliable. It just has a strong list of games (nothing better than Playstation or Nintendo) and a fantastic Online Service.

tbh Console Gaming hasn't been the same since Xbox360 started popularizing Shooters on consoles. That's why i now prefer handhelds over consoles this gen.
Microsoft brought paying for online and RROD, not revolutionary.

Sure did, it took alittle blowing in the cartridge from time to time, but never multiple trips to the repair station :)
Aside from RROD (Which I never got), I would have to agree. I have an NES and an SNES with the greatest games but 360 is in atleast Top 5 or Top 3 for me, I got 7 games this November and still going, 360 changed my gaming life and made it even better!Xbox 360 FTW.

I actually think MS deserves more credit for what they have accomplished in the gaming world.. they hardly ever delay games, infact i cant even think of a time recently they delayed ANY of their exclusive games, infact i dont think any exclusive 360 game has ever been delayed, the NXE came out right on time as promised and what they have accomplished in just the last 3 years with the advancements in xbox live and the overall stellar game line up is phenominal.. The 360 reminds me a lot like Bill Clinton, when Bill Clinton was president we had such great peace and prosperity, the economy was booming and everything was great, but he messed up once by cheating on his wife and people all of a sudden treated him like crap and forgot all about his great accomplishments as President and forgot how great of a president he was..The 360 is the same way, with the 360 we have great prosperity in gaming, meaning we have great games that come out on time and come out often, xbox live is booming and providng great gaming experiences worldwide, the rest of the world likes and respects the 360 but they mess up once with the RROD and people just dont forgive them for it and they just forget all the good MS has done for the gaming industry.. so yea, like Bill Clinton.. MS deserves more credit
