Okay Okay, apparently the situations change every time and all that bollocks. But seriously, selling a game for $60 with only 4 maps, and about 3 hours of original gameplay is highway robbery. Just because youre replaying the same 4 missions on 4 maps over and over doesnt really justify the price. I have no clue how a game with so little content, at such a high price could get 9s L4D should be $40
Haven't played the game have you?
...
There are 4 chapters each with 5 maps L4D should be $40
The game is only 3 hours long? (thinking of renting it) but about the maps can't they just add more with update/dlc, and for PC with mods and such?
User created content=mods and hundreds of free maps.
Easily worth your 60 dollars.
Resistance 2 should be $80 - $30 for co-op , $20 for single player , $30 for multiplayer
The devs think it's worth 60, most users agree with that pricing

pretty much became clear when he said 3 hours
Why should it be cheaper then other games ive bought this year, when ive had more fun with this game then all the others ive bought. This game is well worth its price tag with its huge replay value and coop fun with friends. Not to mention all the mods that are already in the works.Left4Dead >>>
User created content=mods and hundreds of free maps. Easily worth your 60 dollars.
If you're talking about the PC version (since PC version is the one that has mods and user created maps), it does not cost 60 dollars. It's 50 dollars.

??? I have 3-4 hours of gameplay logged and I haven't even touched anything but the first campaign...
I don't know where you're getting this 3 hour number from or where IGN is getting their 2 hour number from but this is a game that many will spend 100+ hours with.

So just to clarify, will there be people releasing actual full new scenarios/campaigns for the game for free? :O
I would consider buying this overrated mod for 20 dollars, anything more is a jack move, considering that CSS HL2 and TF2 are all 20 and better games at this point in time.

I could keep replaying COD4 campaign over and over, but couldnt really claim it was longer than 5 or so hours. I'm gonna trust the opinion of IGN (and other sites) about the shortness of this game.Making the argument that the game will have a lot of DLC in the future is hardly a justifiable complaint... not when GS/IGN gave Socom a far too low score because of connection problems when future DLC would eradicate the problems... its a double standard. Also, I doubt 360 owners will get any additional content.. its how M$ rolls
I think all retail games on all systems should be $40.

Because you can definitely tell if it's overrated without even playing it at all.
I whole heartedly agree... Though the game is incredibly fun, it doesnt feel like a whole game, espacially after what deals valve has done in the past with games.
It's because what little content there is, is damn good.
3 hours of gameplay... Come back when you have played the game.

I played this game today and I have to agree. I didn't find the game that interesting and I hate that it has no checkpoints.Good thing it was a rental because I wouldn't be playing again.
