That was the second most underrated platformer of that generation. Demon's Crest was the first.

It wasn't really a platformer. It was more like a zelda clone. But a good one at that.
Oh wait, of course... I'm thinking of the SNES Legend of the Mystical Ninja.
That game was so freaking awesome. The main bosses were also pretty dam funny.

from the title i didn't recognise the game but i remembered it from the cover, yes it was badass.
