this is easy, masterchief wins cos snakes primitive 21st century weapons can't even dent spartan battle armour, not to mention the fact that masterchief ways a ton and is way taller and stronger, snake is essentially a 1st generation genetic soldier, masterchief is the latest thing in genetic enhancement coupled with advanced battle armour, solid snake takes on small armys, masterchief takes on entire races and wins.

Snake is the more believable of the two.
