I thought the same thing before I played it, but after I decided to buy it, I was just amazed at how good it was. the online just plays so well and i have not experienced any lag yet whatsoever, its just so fun and addicting. Another thing i like about it is the fighters feel really well balanced, in past mortal kombat games there was always some characters you just didnt want to play with, but this game each character has their own unique and great fighting style that no matter who you choose, you will be have a satisfying fighting experience. no matter if you choose anyone from catwoman to Scorpion, you are going to have a blast

I know i talk about it a lot lol but this game is just that good, i thought the hype for me would die down by now but its all ive been playing non stop since I bought it, I talk about it a lot because Im very confident that if more people gave it a try that they would fall in love with it and have a great gaming experience.. Its such a shame reviewers are treating this game like crap when its probably one of the most satisfying games ive played this year so far.

Its sad but true that in today's gaming world you can forget about a game getting a good review unless its hyped and commercialized to death. But this is one game i COMPLETLY disagree with most of the reviewers about, Ive been hooked on this game since I got it and it keeps getting better everytime I play it.. Discrediting VF5, DOA, and Soul Calibur calling them light hearted is just a silly reason for disliking a fighter, especially when you make no mention of the gameplay.Best fighter since MK3? Wow lol. What have you not played any fighters in between MK3 and Present time? See while you were messing around with that stiff, robotic, dial up a combo game called MK3 in 1995, my quarters were going else where to games such as
- KOF 95
- Fatal Fury 3
- Real Bout Fatal Fury
- Street Fighter Alpha
- Tekken
- Virtua Fighter
- Fighting Vipers
