The company last released a European sales figure for Xbox 360 in June, when it told MCV that it had shifted five million units in EMEA.
Now that number has grown by two million - having been greatly affected by September's price reduction, which saw the 360 Arcade SKU reduced to just £169.99 (%26euro;239).

To Reggaeton(since every time I try to quote you I get a no valid HTML tags error). No, the problem is you thinking that Sony's 17 million number isn't a shipped number also. Using shipped numbers would be 25 million vs. 17 million. Using sold numbers would your 18.8(which I don't think is correct, but without real euro numbers it is hard to say) vs. maybe 13 or so for the PS3. For your 9million PS3's in the PAL region number they would have had to have averaged 500,000 units a month since the PS3 came out...which I don't think it is close to.

There is nothing fishy about the numbers Microsoft has sold more consoles so far than Sony its the truth . your just another stupid sony fan boy that thinks the PS3 has a chance of getting out 3rd place well guess what It has no chance at all.
