The first two destroy consoles. This poll is awful.
Any of those easily does. 256MB 7800, 1GB RAM, and a low end dual core prettymuch matches the consoles graphically. At least PS3 has a unique and powerful CPU for the future though.

Since the consoles in general runs on lower resolution is it preatty easy to match.A X1950PRO is today a $100 card.
But I'd rather get a cheap core 2 duo (overclock it), 2GB RAM and a 8800GT. That would crush any of the consoles and to a nice price.

LOL You don't really need much to out class, let alone match, the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
People seems to think that both the 360 and the PS3 are performance monsters. But to run a PC game at the same resolution and with the same graphical detail isn't that demanding.
Let me see most games on the console dont even run at 720p and have week AA.... So I guess:- AMDx2 Athlon 3800+- 1 GB 677Mhz RAM- X1950proA PC would those specs cheap case, hard drive, mother baord will set you back ?00 -?00... so you wouldn't pay much more than a PS3 or an Elite.... kinda makes the PC's expensive arguement look stupid.
All of those gpu's destroy consoles, a 1900xt is about as close as you can get.

Console render at 1280*720 (hell, MANY games lower res then that). Crysis can be run on high with a X1950XT at that res.

For example GOW2 on ps2 couldn't be done on an equivalent PC and later on in this generation consoles you can expect too see the same trend.
It should reallybe between the 1950XT and the 8800GT..Its closer too 1950XT though..
