So what do 360 fans think of PhysX...

...because it is highly likely Xbox 720 will have full GPGPU support. Whether Xbox 720 uses an Nvidia GPU with CUDA or an ATI GPU with CTM; it will have access to GPU computing. The thread earlier showed off the physics effects being accelerated on the GPU in Mirror's Edge, I actually think this is the very first retail game to utilize hardware PhysX after Nvidia purchased Ageia. Before this was announced we mostly had only tech demos.Your response interests me because GPU computing has often competed against Cell in a few areas. Seeing how GPU computing is getting Microsofts official support in DirectX 11 with the introduction of the compute shader; I suppose you could call it Xbox's answer to Cell next generation. Right now GPU computing such as CUDA is out performing PS3 Cell in quite a few areas; mostly because of the sheer performance difference between the hardware, it will be interesting to see them compete on the consoles next gen though. Which do you think will do better?
