Achievements, online demos, XBLA, wireless controller standard, guide button, detachable hard drive, the best online system, the best controller ever, has the most diversity (RTS, WRPGs and FPS on consoles that are actually good? Amazing), great GUI/dashboard, best system ever. The PS2 and SNES were nothing more than PS1 and NES upgrades, respectively. not really. it just does most things extremely well.

[/QUOTE]PS2 had DREs, and the NES was super fragile (and if I remember correctly so was the SNES), so the best systems of each gen are usually faulty.
The only thing that it have going for it is XBLA, and is a monthly subscription...
No. Just no.I will agree its user interface did break some boundries, I remember when you couldn't even do anything with  your system unless you had some sort of media in there.
It's not innovative at all. They just applied them all on one console. Which is good.
It's true the 360 has commited to bring a great online service, and also changed or stirred up the industry in it's own ways, yet the same is said for any company really. The industry itself is just evolving, and everyone is taking strides down their own path and making a big splash.

I agree. Its a really good system even for non-gamers and the NXE makes everything so much better. The layout is near perfect.
I rethink my statement.Achievements are an innovation. A big one too. Something the other two consoles are doing now.
Yea I think not. Its not inovative. It just made online work better for home consoles.

Coupled with the first wireless standard controller and the guide button, the 360 controller redefines what a controller should be.

Honestly, that sounds like description at the back of the box.It isn't 100% perfect, and it didn't redefine what a controller should be. In fact, it's extremely similiar to past controllers.
