Resistance2 deserves the same sales as g ...

ok..... Ive got r2 .. .. and i can honestly say that it deserves the same sales as gears 2....Personally I like new innovative games rather than boring sucky games Here a list of innovations R2 has over G2 1) r2 allows players to enjoy the thrill of 600 foot tall bosses, for the first time, while gears leaves xbots with the same size enemies as in the original Wheres the improvement? 2) R2 leaves the ridiculous modern day trend of 3rd person shooters and in a wonderfully brave move brings back the first person perspective.. 3) R2 doesn't come on outdated DVD media, using teh highdefintion BLUE RAY format that allows for a far richer experience .. R2 probably wouldn't even fit on 4 dvds4) R2 uses even more of the cell broadband engines power than R1, But is still only using 15% of its theoretical power, whereas G2 maxes out the 360, because of this, its a dangerous game to put g2 in your xbox .. watch out for yet another red ring .. 5) The Cell Broadband EngineTM has the muscle and horsepower to move beyond artificial intelligence. This is the power that is the digital soul of PLAYSTATION®3. You need to play gears2, and also look up the specs for the PS3 you'll find out it isn't as powerful as you think.
you're so desperate that you even put another thread on the WII section.pathetic, even though i want to agree with you.but no, the first resistance never created the same impact as geow1 did when it came out.plus, compared to res1, geow1 really made you feel YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE SEQUEL.r1 was meh.
Resistance 2 is an absolute shell of Resistance 1.  So over the top and overly colorful.Should have stayed simple.Resistance 1 is my favorite multi-player shooter of all time, I haven't touched R2 since I beat it.

R2 in a wonderfully brave move brings the FPS back? Halo 3, COD4, CODWAW, Bioshock, Rainbow Six Vegas, etc, etc, etc.Did you think that the FPS has been dead or something?

Some valid points TC but I don't see it that way. Its pretty clear from the get go R2 wouldn't reach Gears 2 sales figures because of the 5 million more 360 users and Microsoft's better marketing. R2 could have been marketed better or at all for that matter but thats Sony's fault and not an issue with the game. But as for gameplay enhancemens R2 improved greatly over R1 because the changes were needed as R1 gameplay was dated and honestly last gen but it was a launch game so thats excusable. Gears 2 only refined over Gears 1 because drastic change was not required and the basic gameplay mechanics and controls were still top notch just some weapon balancing issues and multiplayer set up needed any real work to bring the gameplay into 2008. R2 had to pretty much drop R1's control scheme and and gameplay to bring it up to speed. It still feels like Resistance but you can also feel a lot of CoD4's influence on the FPS market there as well. Both are on an even keel now, both have amazing campaigns, great co-op options, and hefty online multiplayer. Theres no need to really nit pick and bicker between these two titles.
A lot of games deserve the sales of Gears but young grass hoppa not very many games sell 5 million

Are u kidding me I love FPS games, and even i will admit there are a TON oF FPS games...and Resistance 2 doesn't even do anything new for the genre....it is a great package put together but not 1 thing it does is really new or never been done before.....
