Mirrors edge PC>>>>>other ...

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/42962.html it turns out the reason the PC version was delayed was so that Physx could be implememented into the game...and the new PC trailer demonstrates the new tech. anyone with an 8000 Series card or higher has access to Physx as long as all their software is updated. It's very impressive.Mirrors edge PC%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;other ...
Looks nice sure (don't have the game yet to compare) but... it doesn't look like it really effects the overall gameplay either. Of course the PC will look better, but really does it matter much if cloth and glass physics and the like aren't totally realistic in a game that's about running and it's level layout is more set in stoned for this game. (If the new game allowed you to manipulate objects on the fly and use them to make way for moving about the environment, then I could see this being more usefull.)
Wow, amazing, I just might get it :D
Wow, amazing, I just might get it :D
Agreed!When i have a couple more bucks.
It is pretty sweet. I hope there will be a demo for it.
Yeah after watchign that video it does look amazing, i wish they would have delayed the console versions for something like that

Definitely picking up this version after a price drop.
it's settled i'm getting the PC version :)
:o Impressive!!
I'll wait for the demo. None of these fancy physx stuff can't convince me to buy, as it stands, a mediocre shooter.

I have been talking about stuff like this for a while, it is about time they actually implemented it.
Really? I thought Physx is supported on the PS3.
Hardware accelerated PhysX was developed by Ageia to accelerated physics on a dedicated physics processing unit called a PPU, Nvidia later purchased Ageia and adapted their technology to run via CUDA; a GPGPU programming language supported on Nvidia 8 series and later. ATI created their own solution for GPU computing called CTM; but I have not seen it supported widely.Neither the Xbox 360 or PS3 are equipped with a GPU that supports this technology, their hardware was finalized long before its implementation. PhysX is both a hardware and software physics API, some people may confuse support of the software side on consoles as support for the hardware side as well. With support being in this game I guess Mirror's Edge used PhysX as their software physics API.

man you have to be such a graphix whore to care about that stuff. that really has nothing to do with how fun i would have.
We are getting MORE for LESS so why not be happy. At least it makes up for the wait!
