Whoa killzone 2 makes call of duty 4 and ...

I got into the beta of killzone 2 the other day and the graphics are just amazing the best ive seen on a console but I didnt really understand just how much better until I decided to put on call of duty world at war on and it made call of duty world at war look like a ps2 game it looked like trash compared to killzone 2.This is a true story, if you only own a 360 you need to get a ps3 because killzone 2 proves ps3 is king when it comes to graphics, shame on 3rd party devs who cant make games look like killzone 2Whoa killzone 2 makes call of duty 4 and ...

I think it easily looks better than the CoD games and every other console shooter for that matter, but I think making them look like PS2 games is an exageration.As for people knocking the gameplay, no I havent played it myself, but it looks like a much better CoD from what I have seen and Im pretty sure thats a good thing.
Graphics are the least of my concerns when it comes to KZ2. Let's see how that single player pans out, k?
I dont get looking down upon the gameplay from people??? I have yet to see one negative comment come from the people in the KZ2 beta. I think the PS3 has yet another hit on its hands.

I don't want it to be bad, because I have it pre-ordered, and I'll play it either way. With that said, I will keep my stance until I hear more on the SP portion.
Killzone makes the world look a lot more colourful too by comparison

Those shades of gray and the same enemies over and over again really look awesome

So far previews from every site that has the beta has been nothing but gushing regarding every aspect of this game. After watching the Helghan trailer, I became sold on the single player as well.A 42 month long dev. cycle really is long, but that is shorter compared to most Blizzard made games. Either way, long wait or not, it is coming out this Feb. (hopefully) and it seems like it may actually live up to the hype.

[/QUOTE]Even if it manages to completely blow away every other console game in terms of graphics and has some extremely solid gameplay, both SP and online, people will find a way to hate.''oh its just shades of grey'' as if the devs dont know how to put colorful bitmaps in the difuse slot when making textures, or ''oh its just another generic FPS'' like cows say about the Halo series. Haters will hate. If a game is exclusive you better be ready for nit picking losers. Must be sad to be a one console owner this gen.

[/QUOTE] Awesome criticism there, coming from someone who has played the full version, seen all the areas and enemies this KZ2 has to offer. Noticed you've been playing some Gears 2 on there. It has a lil more color now, but from what I remember playing it as recently as tonight, that game has an awful lot of grey in it as well. Those enemies are about exactly the same from what I can remember too.It's alright though, fanboyism always prevents people from enjoying a game no matter what game or generation it is.

[/QUOTE]No, I owned a PS2 last gen and still thought Killzone 1 was crap. Get the whole picture before you judge.

Gears of War 1 and 2 are far superior games. And the enemy variety in Gears of War 2 and environmental variety kills that of Killzone 1 and what has been seen of Killzone 2. Gears of War 2 showed off a variety of enemies when it was first shown, what the hell was KZ2 shown. The same Hellgast over and over again.

I'll get a PS3 eventually but not for Grayzone 2, most likely MGS4 and God of War 3...two of my favorite series from the PS2.

Many interviews stated that D3 was completely scrapped and rebuilt on 3 seperate occasions over the course of almost 6-7 years. Also, that is counting if the game were to come out tomm. but with an already planned 2 years of dev. time still on the table for us to wait thru, I think it is safe to say it could be nearing the decade anniversary of D2 when this title finally releases.Don't forget SC2, which has been announced by the devs to have started development the day after Frozen Throne came out. And again, still an uncompleted game which will shape up to sell more copies and garner better reviews than probably 90-98% of the games coming out the year it does.
Who knows about the single player but The multiplayer only is almost worth the price of the game, I do luv single player games as well though but if even the multiplayer is epic im sure single player will be to, it's awesome having to shoot through planks of wood to get a better shot at someone or having to sprint from one area to another because there is a Bot in the Air shooting down at you, the overall presentation of the game has made other games look like playschool amature hour[QUOTE=''BioShockOwnz''][QUOTE=''bigLLL'']I dont get looking down upon the gameplay from people???
