How is this game considered survival horror when (I'm playing on normal): a. I have like 6 healing cans b. ammo is easily accesible c. it's not even scary or threatening.d. pretty easy so far (I'm on chapter 4)Please tell me I can get survival horror experience on hard.. Dead Space: survival-horror? pft..
Please tell me I can get survival horror experience on hard..
You definitely CAN. And even more so for ''Impossible'' mode.Dead Space: survival-horror? pft..
Yeah in normal is pretty easy, but thats why exist Hard and Impossible. Still its not that hard though.
You'll run out of ammo and health and die in 1-2 hits on Insane so yes, it really only feels like a survival horror game on higher difficulties.
Hard and Impossible sound good for surviving, but if you weren't SCARED playing on Normal... I nearly crapped my pants a few times and broke my record for highest jump out of my seat.

What part got you ? ***spoiler*** think the only thing that surprised me was that big worm thing that grabs you when you go through the door.
Yeah, it's more like ''Mildly Startling Action'', but I still really like the game.

Bunch of human heads stacked on blood-covered shelves really lets you know that this guy went off the deep end.
I find this game to be very demoralizing. Whenever I read a book, watch a movie, play a game, I really get into it and this is one of those games that just psychologically gets to me.
Well its more survival horror then RE4.
