Xbox 360 outsells Playstation 3 in hardw ...

 ...of RROD! It kills the console, people need it replace either by warranty or having to buy a new console... therefore it increases the hardware sales!  Thats one theory... :PSo, how many Xbox 360 consoles are actually out there that isnt RROD versus how much the sales figure is at do yous people reckon? having both consoles and enjoying both, i think its outselling the PS3 cause of the recent price-cuts + many great games being released on the system..seriously both consoles are amazing and worth having, so its good seeing both doing well...

its pretty well known that MS replaces your 360 completely free of charge if it RROD's
honestly i dont follow much sales for consoles / games, since i am more interested gaming and discussing current games available + upcoming titles... i think its normal if a great console such as the 360 with its large games library %26 great online has a price-cut its will boost sales, but it was doing good throughout 2008 not just after the price-cut... probably should Sony announce a price-cut next year we would also see a significant boost in sales..

Only problem with that theory is that it is alot cheaper to just get the console fixed by MS then buy a new one..

[/QUOTE] if you send your rrod 360 off for repairs they repair it for FREE and that doesnt account towards more sales. If the system RROD's you dont have to buy a new system.
Yeah I reckon the Xbox 360 does sell more then it normally would because of RROD. Its not like Microsoft gives you a 360 Elite when your 360 Core breaks.
